Event Description

The official ballroom dance team of OSU is hosting a Valentine's Dance! We welcome OSU students, faculty, and alumni to learn the American Waltz with us. After this brief lesson, we will break to allow people to mingle, enjoy refreshments, and dance to a variety of music from different ballroom styles. 

FAQ

Do I need to bring a partner? 

We welcome partners and singles alike! There is no need to bring a dance partner with you to participate. 

Do I need any prior dance experience? 

Nope! This is a great first introduction to dance, and our lesson is geared towards people with no dance experience. 

What should I wear?

We recommend attire that will be comfortable to dance in (avoiding restricted movement or overheating). Otherwise, we encourage fun outfits but have no formal dress code for this event.

“Learn How to Study” Event will be on February 17th from 6pm-7pm in the Union’s Creative Arts Room.

There will be 3 different stations of study methods. The study session itself will be set up in a pomodoro method style.

Everyone that comes in gets put in a raffle to win a prize, and if you win one of the games, you get another entry!
